Trainee Recruitment Consultant

We are looking for a trainee recruitment consultant to join our small but highly supportive and experienced team in central Bristol.

The role of a trainee recruitment consultant involves communicating with candidates within the Education Sector.

You will be sourcing Teachers, Teaching assistants and other education staff to work for our agency for interim or permanent positions in our client schools based in South-West.

Your duties will involve:

• Resourcing candidates:

You will be sourcing, shortlisting, and pre-screening both speculative candidates as well as specific job applicants. Writing, posting job adverts as well as producing CV and candidate profiles.

• Interviews:

You will undertake face-to-face, telephone and video interviews with candidates for the purpose of finding/offering them temporary and permanent job opportunities in schools.

• Vetting and Compliance:

You will be following Department of Education, Home office and safer recruitment guidelines on all aspects of the recruitment process of our candidates.

• Targets:

Achievement of weekly targets and KPI’s set by your manager.

Following a successful year of achieving your targets and supporting your team, you will make the transition to the role of an Recruitment Consultant.

Compensation:

Our starting salaries are above-market and we also offer a commission scheme in almost all positions

We have a generous holiday entitlement: 35 days (7 weeks) PLUS bank holidays of paid vacation each year to new employees. We also have reduced hours during all school holidays.
