Safeguarding Policy
At Hanson Recruitment, we have an uncompromising responsibility to our schools and young people when it comes to safeguarding and providing the schools with high quality and safe candidates. We put the safety and wellbeing of children at the centre of all that we do and pride ourselves in reaching the highest standards when it comes to safeguarding and compliance.
All of our registered candidates undergo the following checks and vetting:
- Telephone Interview
- Overseas Police Check (if applicable)
- Face to face candidate interviews
- Enhanced DBS and List 99 check
- Verification of right to work in the United Kingdom and Proof of Identity
- Fitness to work & occupational health clearance
- NCTL registration (if applicable)
- All candidates are asked to sign a confirmation that they have read and understood the latest DFE guidelines “Keeping Children Safe in Education”, as well as completing “Prevent” training.
- Proof of Address (utility bill) and National Insurance Number
- Minimum of 2 verified and authenticated references. A minimum of two references, covering all employment, education or voluntary experience from at least the last two years
